Sangria
juice and pulp of 2-3 oranges
juice and pulp of 2 limes
1.5 oz triple sec
stir then add plenty of ice
add one bottle cheap argentinian malbec or why over ice
add sliced limes, oranges, apples, whatever
add sparkly water to taste
stir it all with a wooden spoon
you can substitute brandy for triple sec
you can make a fresh batch leaving all the leftover stuff in the bottom. i don't vary the recipe but i add less whole fruit and stir more. if you leave the dregs overnight in the fridge it often tastes better next day
btw, most recipes call for sugar to be stirred into the juice at the beginning. i don't add any but sometimes it turn out a little tart.
